• Bartender

    THIS POSITION REPORTS TO THE FOOD & BEVERAGE MANAGER/BAR MANAGER.

    REQUIRED:

    • Become TAM Certified within 30 Days after hire date.
    • MUST BE 21 YEARS OF AGE.

    Bartenders Prepare and Serve Drinks to Customers.

    • Mix Garnish and Present Drinks using standard ingredient recipes and practicing prudent portion controls.
    • Replenish Drinks as necessary, checking back with Guests frequently to inquire about satisfaction.
    • Take Beverage Orders from serving staff or directly from patrons.
    • Mix Ingredients according to drink recipes.
    • Serve Customers in a friendly and helpful manner.
    • Input Orders at point of sale and create a check for each guest.
    • Pour Wine and Beer.
    • Collect Payment, make Change as needed and Operate Cash Register.
    • Check Identification of Customers to make sure they meet age requirements for purchase of alcohol.
    • Clean Up after Customers and clean work area.
    • Monitor and Maintain an Inventory of Supplies, Liquor, and Beer.
    • Perform Physical Activities such as Lifting and Stooping.
    • Attempt to Limit Problems and Liability related to Customers’ excessive drinking by taking steps such as persuading customers to stop drinking. Or ordering Taxi’s or Other Transportation for intoxicated patrons.
    • Slice and Pit Fruit for garnishing drinks.
    • Cleans and Maintains station in practicing good safety, sanitation, organizational skills.
    • Restock all items as needed throughout shift.
    • Knowledge of Casino Promotions and Player’s Club Benefits.

    Skills

    • Must be able to stand for essentially 100% of the shift.
    • Tolerate occasional environmental exposures such as the cold, heat, and water.
    • Must be able to transport up to 30 lbs.

     

    TIPPING

    As a Bartender, you are considered to be in a “Tipped” position. It is LAW that you claim 100% of  your tips and it is your responsibility to do so. Tip Reports are done on the Micros System that you clock in and out on. All charged tips (credit card/room charge) are automatically saved on your tip report in the Micros System. During the clock out process, the system will prompt you to enter your cash tips. Enter 100% of the cash tips you have received. Failure to do so may result in a disciplinary action.

     

  • Cocktail Server

    THIS POSITION REPORTS TO THE FOOD & BEVERAGE MANAGER/BAR MANAGER.

    REQUIRED:

    • Become TAM Certified within 30 Days after hire date.
    • MUST BE 21 YEARS OLD.

    A Cocktail Server’s duties, involve submitting and presenting guest beverage selections. Cocktail Server job duties require style and service attributes that are key to creating the guest experience.

    • Provide Excellent guest service in an efficient manner.
    • Accurately record beverage items.
    • Knowledge of all beverage menus, brand selections, prices and garnishes.
    • Knowledge of General Guest Information.
    • Knowledge of Casino Promotions and Player’s Club Benefits.
    • Replenish Drinks as necessary, checking back with guests frequently to inquire about satisfaction.
    • Take Beverage Orders from serving staff or directly from patrons.
    • Check Identification of Customers to make sure that they meet age requirements for purchase of alcohol.
    • Input Orders at point of sale and create a check for each guest.
    • Conduct self in a professional manner with the awareness that all actions and communications are within guest view.
    • Maintain cleanliness of service areas and ensure work area is orderly and properly stocked.
    • Responsible for collecting accurate payment from the guest and depositing the exact amount of sales.
    • Cleans and Maintains station in practicing good safety, sanitation, organizational skills.
    • Completes assigned duties within each shift.
    • Ensures a reasonable effort is made in preventing a guest from being intoxicated.
    • Maintain appearance and uniform standards.
    • Develop and maintain positive communication and teamwork with all co-workers and supervisors.
    • Handle all guest service issues in an immediate and professional manner.

    Skills

    • Must be able to lift, carry, and balance cocktail trays.
    • Ability to organize and prioritize under pressure while maintaining a calm pleasant demeanor.

  • Dealer
    *THIS POSITION REQUIRES A SOUTH DAKOTA GAMING LICENSE*
    • Shuffle and deal cards as required for the blackjack play or any other assigned game.
    • Apply knowledge of dealing procedures including house rules so as to preserve the security and integrity of games.
    • Maintain chip tray at table in orderly fashion.
    • Notify supervisor of any irregularities or customer concerns in a timely manner.
    • Answer questions or inquiries from patrons.
    • Perform other duties as assigned by an immediate supervisor or any manager.
    • Excellent customer service skills.

     

    Dealers are NOT allowed to play ANY card games in the Mineral palace or deal to ANY immediate family members.

  • Floor Supervisor – Graveyard/Swing Shift
    *THIS POSITION REQUIRES A SD KEY GAMING LICENSE*

    The main goal of the Floor Supervisor is to oversee gaming staff including circulating among casino tables and observing operations to ensure that all stations and games are covered for each shift, and that everyone adheres to the rules of the games.

    The Floor Supervisor is in charge on every shift and works directly with the management staff on duty. The Floor Supervisor has a wide range of general responsibilities on a day-to-day basis which may include supervision of all staff members in the absence of management such as desk clerks, hotel staff, maintenance staff, bartenders, cocktail waitresses, blackjack dealers, restaurant staff, parking attendants, shuttle drivers, etc. You must be able to deal with employee issues and communicate with relevant managers.

    A CURRENT GAMING LICENSE AND NAME TAG MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES

    The Floor Supervisor must upheld and maintain:

  • Housekeeper

    Housekeepers are responsible for the cleanliness of guest rooms, hallways, and public areas in the hotel.

    • Servicing guest rooms daily in accordance with hotel procedures.
    • Stocking cart with room supplies.
    • Replacing bed linens and replenishing guest room supplies.
    • Attention to detail
    • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members verbally or in written form.
    • Ability to bend lift and be standing/walking all day.
      • (LIFTING REQUIREMENT: 30lbs)

    You must be able to operate various mechanized cleaning equipment, maintain facilities in a sanitary condition and report any needed repairs immediately to supervisor (such as leaky faucets or toilets, loose tile, broken window panes, missing nuts or screws, beds needing repair, etc.)

  • Line Cook

    Line Cooks are responsible for preparing assigned food items. They must follow the recipes and the portion control guidelines set by the food establishment.

    • Set up their stations and restocking items.
    • Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by the restaurant.
    • Restock all items as needed throughout shifts.
    • Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety, sanitation, organizational skills.
    • Understand and have knowledge to properly use and maintain equipment in station.
    • Assist with cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen, walk-in coolers, and all storage areas.
    • Possess basic cooking skills
    • Possess basic understanding of how to use food service equipment.
      • (Knives, Pots and Pans, ovens and grills, food processors and slicers.
    • Understand and have knowledge of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures.
    • Have some sort of experience in prep or line cook.

    REQUIRED to be Serv-Safe Certified within 60 days after hire date.

     

  • Pit Boss

    Candidate must have a SDCG gaming license.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a knack for conflict management, and a passion for the gaming industry.

    • Assist guests with inquiries regarding their Players Club accounts and benefits.
    • Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining a balance cash drawer.
    • Provide outstanding guest services by addressing concerns and resolving conflicts in a professional manner.
    • Supervise the Players Club area to ensure a welcoming environment for all patrons.

  • Table Games Manager

The Table Games Manager ensures that games are conducted fairly, efficiently, and in a way that delivers an exciting and memorable experience for both guests and staff.

    Serving as a leader on and off the floor, the Table Games Manager oversees staffing, training, procedures, and performance while collaborating closely with other departments to support operational goals. This position requires strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and a forward-thinking mindset to keep the table games department operating at the highest level.

    Candidate must have an SDCG Key gaming license or be able to obtain one.

    Key Responsibilities Include:

    • Leading the hiring, training, scheduling, and development of table games staff.
    • Establishing, maintaining, and enforcing pit rules, procedures, and performance standards.
    • Providing coaching, corrective action, and performance evaluations for dealers and supervisors.

  • Valet

    Valet Attendant is responsible for providing a positive first and last impression to guests when they arrive and leave the hotel. Valet Drivers must have strong and analytical and navigational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple pick-ups and drop-offs on a schedule under continuously changing circumstances.

    A VALID DRIVERS LICENSE AND ACCEPTABLE DRIVING RECORD IS REQUIRED

    • Provide claim check and instruct guest on how to reclaim vehicle.
    • Park guest vehicles in specified areas in a safe and efficient manner.
    • Retrieve guest vehicles from specified areas in a safe and efficient manner.
    • Provide travel directions and information on property events and promotions.
    • Obey ALL traffic laws on and off property.
    • Promote the courteous treatment of customers and resolving guest service issues. Ensuring you are ready to go at all times to guarantee customer has minimal wait time.
    • Provide timely & knowledgable service; and then some!
    • Greet arriving and departing guests. Opens passenger door(s) and offer assistance.
    • Assist hotel guests with their luggage

    • Required to be in company uniform at ALL times.

    • NO cell phone usage permitted while on shift.
    • Assist Front Desk with certain operations.
